PHY 201 and PHY 202 (or PHY 101 and PHY 102) or their equivalents are required for the chemistry major and should be completed prior to the junior year in order to meet prerequisites for upper-level courses. All chemistry majors must also pass a standardized comprehensive chemistry examination prior to graduation.
